The mission of your role

As Legal Counsel, you will play a key role in ensuring our operations comply with applicable regulations and industry standards and collaborate closely with the General Counsel. You will have your own areas of responsibility within the regulated parts of our operations and will play a key role in assessing and shaping new products as well as overseeing and improving compliance structures. You will collaborate with all teams and our risk- and compliance function. The role is based in Stockholm.

Your main responsibilities will include...

• Advising on regulatory matters, including GDPR, the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) and the Markets in Crypto Assets Regulation (MiCAR).

• Supporting the development of internal policies and guidelines to ensure regulatory compliance.

• Staying up to date on relevant legislative changes and ensuring the company adapts accordingly.

• Contributing to training and internal awareness efforts on legal matters.

About you

In order to succeed in the role we believe that you have….

• A Swedish law degree

• 5 years of adequate post graduate experience, focusing on financial regulations within payment services or financial instruments

• Experience from working in the financial industry at a licensed company

• Experience working with MiFID or PSD2, GDPR, IT and data security

• Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English
