The mission of your role

Safello is challenging the status quo in the finance industry, and our journey requires a passionate and experienced Chief Operating Officer. In this key role, you’ll manage our daily operations and collaborate closely with the CEO to shape strategic decisions and drive the company’s KPIs. You will be a core member of Safello’s management team, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and optimal performance across all departments. You will collaborate with all teams and be a part of Safello's management team. The role is based in Stockholm, with occasional travel.

Your main responsibilities will include...

- Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, risk management, and alignment with the company’s objectives

- Managing the operational team including but not limited to Support, Operations and Business Development

- Drive growth initiatives and manage key projects across the organisation.

- Ensure regulatory compliance, enforce risk management, and safeguard operational integrity.

- Managing and overseeing operational processes and adherents to corporate governance structure including NPA-processes and regulatory implementation

- Driving growth by tracking KPI’s connected to your area of responsibility

About you

In order to succeed in the role we believe that you have….

- A university degree in a relevant field

- 8 + years of experience in a similar role

- Have experience of working in the financial industry at a licensed company

- Experience working with regulations such as AML-directive

- Project management skills

- Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English

- Ability to make data-driven decisions

- Knowledge and understanding of the crypto industry

It is considered an advantage if you…

- Have experience of product management or legal experience

- Have prior experience of working in the crypto industry
